I could learn about the ancient 7 wonders of the World, it’s important to know about them to our general culture. Something curious that I learned is that all of them went downs by natural events or by the man, some of them even B.C. The only one that stills on feet is The pyramids of Giza, in Egypt. For me as a student of architecture I think is important to me to know about the history of the world greatest constructions, being the Wonders one of them. It’s interesting to know that the man can destroy what he proposes himself to destroy, even the 7 Wonders, would it be by ideologies or interests. Also we must know that it doesn’t matter the importance of the building, the natural events can also interfere. To know about the Wonders of the world is a motivation to me to in a future build on function to the great, to the wonderful, because maybe someday it can be recognized. One of the ancient 7 Wonders that most I liked was the Lighthouse of Alexandria, because it seems to me like a construction, that despite the time it was built, it’s objective was to offer a service of huge importance to the city, because it helped the merchants and the economy as well.
